Boonville Friends of the Library
July 9 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
An event every 2 months that begins at 1:30pm on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely
The Friends of the Library, Boonville Branch, are community members like you who are dedicated to supporting the services and activities of Boonslick Regional Library. We share the belief that a strong public library is essential for a thriving community. Know that you are supporting a partnership between BRL and the community for quality service to all the citizens of Cooper, Howard, and Boone counties.
Join us the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 1:30 p.m. at the library.
Membership is open to individuals who want involvement in the Library. The opportunities to help are as varied as the materials and services offered by the Library itself. We welcome new members and volunteers to join us. Friends devote time to: book sales, reading programs, special events , genealogy research, assisting library personnel, fundraising efforts, and much more.
Friends of the Library Book Shop—Book Sales
Support the Friends of the Library and get a great read at the same time by attending their book sales throughout the year and browse our Friends of the Library Book Shop in the entryway for gently used titles. Our prices start at $.25.
The Friends of the Library encourage you to drop your donated books and media at the library, located at 618 Main Street.
If you have a large quantity of books and/or media, please call the staff at 660-827-7323 (READ) before you arrive.
Due to the high costs of recycling and trash removal, we ask that you limit your donations to items we can sell – things that you’d be willing to buy. We do not accept encyclopedias or textbooks.
